FIORI FALSI is a small Chicago, Illinois based company that creates handmade purses, bags, and accessories with high quality materials and special consideration paid to construction. All bags are designed and executed by Jessica Taylor Caponigro, who holds a MFA in Print Media from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Drawn from a desire to create fun, functional and affordable handmade bags, Jessica blends her love of sewing with her love of printing to create FIORI FALSI.

"FIORI FALSI" translates from Italian to "artificial flowers." Browsing through the bags and accessories, you'll find printed wood grain, lace, and floral patterns on cotton and vinyl, that play with the idea of what is real and what is a fake. All seams and stress points are double and triple stitched for durability and many of the fabric choices are hand screenprinted.
